Well, I went to buy some more mulch and saw this little shrub and decided to try it out. It seems more like a tree, so I'll just say I planted a tree. My only concern with it is that it ain't Texas native. But neither am I, so I'm sure it'll be fine.

But this was some real work, digging a hole and moving shit around. I need to go back to outsourcing this shit.

I don't know what's going on with me, I've worked on my yard pretty much every day the past week. I was even binding up branches for the pickup this morning and am still in the office by 9:00.

A couple pictures from down at Bubba's beach house. The first is a view from Bubba's lovely deck surrounding his place. The second is from Bubba's community pier with a view of the bay. We spend the morning putting some doors and priming some walls so hopefully we made a dent in some things.

Went tubing down the Comal River on Saturday. Not too bad, but it rained like cats and dogs for the last 30 minutes of the second trip down Comal. And now back in the office. If only I can fast forward until Thursday as I have Friday off. Off!
