early attendance
Was down in Houston until early this morning and had a good weekend checking out all that was/is the fourth largest city in our country. Last night, I went to check out Shakespeare in the Park at the Miller Outdoor Theatre for a showing of Twelfth Night. Too bad our lines were crossed and we thought the show started at 7 or 7:30 so we arrived around 6:40. It in fact started at 8:30 so we had plenty of time to chill out. Good thing it is a bit cooler in Houston so it wasn't all that painful.

And I'm so sick of my spending money I didn't bother with the HEB stop. As for the beer, I have three 18 packs of Bud Light, 1 24 pack of each Bud Light, Coors Light and Coors. So that's just 126 beers so hopefully people are bring their own. That's just 6 beers per person so hopefully people bring some of their own.Tuesday, June 30, 2009

What a crazy night, not only is ROT going on, but Robbie Knievel is coming out of retirement to jump some beer trucks. And that's in addition to it being the annual mininature golf event for The Brewer's birthday.

my saturday
Cap Metro had an open house for one of its new MetroRail stations down in Plaza Saltillo. I've always been a fan of trains and mass transportation and JMVC let me know about the opening earlier in the week. The trains seem very comfortable and I look forward to trying them out in late March when they open up for real. Too bad I can't get them to route the thing closer to my house.
